Active Kids Platform

Client: McDonald’s
Agency: Arc Worldwide

Description:
As part of a global McDonald’s initiative to encourage kids to be more active, the Active Kids Platform was developed as a means to entertain children while rewarding them for also engaging in various healthful activities. Shrek’s Treketh to Adventure, the first of three promotions, immersed children in the fabled land of Far Far Away for the adventure of a lifetime. Additional promotions were developed for the Surf’s Up and Bee Movie animated feature films.

The Active Kids Platform required the development of a robust and extensible application designed to host rich gaming experiences. The site was localized for 12 languages and 106 different countries.
